A.k.a. Danijel Balaban

Plaster is the codename of Danijel Balaban, who is more known as a popular DJ duo member he formed with his friend Manuel a few years ago in Pula, Croatia. The Manuel & Swift team appeared on many events in the region and in Slovenia as well as on major festivals, such as Valkana Beach Festival, and are active in organizing their own events. Meanwhile, Plaster has also been fine tuning his skills with tricky beat programming which led him to release «Chaos Theory» EP on the Canadian label, Archipel. Alongside, Plaster collaborated with Leander, a likeminded individual with whom he now produces under the name Scout, and they’ve had so far two appearances for compilations like «The Invisible Collective» which was a demo copy passed around Fuse:In festival and «Prepost Tredve» for the Norwegian netlabel Prepost. Plaster’s latest solo appearance was on netlabel Redevice from Amsterdam where he showcased on a V/A compilation with artists like JPLS, Tomas Jirku, Jay Haze and Bern to name a few. His DJing is not limited to any genre, although as Plaster he prefers to play minimalistic, quirky, groovy house music to set the floor in motion.
