Plimsoul is UK House/Tech-house producer of over 30 years Danny Mills. He started performing at an early age as a percussionist & keyboard player. He has played at Wembley arena -as well as playing drum-kit, gaining knowledge and perfecting his skills and abilities in many different genres, such as: Funk, Soul, Jazz, Blues, Pop and Dance music. As a classically trained musician with a pedigree which includes a stint as drummer for ‘Edwin Starr’, Danny has worked in various roles within the music industry. Working for EMI & also at London based dance distributor, Amato & recently as A&R for dance music labels Element recordings , Layer 909 digital. And currently as US label ‘Bid Muzik’ as their UK marketing manager in the UK. In the past year he has had several original releases and remixes on Element Recordings, Proud Runs Deep, Sounds of Juan, Bosh Recordings & forthcoming releases on Bid Muzik & One Thousand Wires Audio and General Surgery Records. As an accomplished Producer of Dance music he is most comfortable producing percussive, intelligent house that ‘honours’ the blue-prints of house music. As a Dj for over 22 years he has played many high profile clubs in the UK and Europe with many leading Dj’s, recently including ‘Kry Wolf’, ‘Copyright’, John Kelly, Lashes, Phutek, DJ Alfredo, Rocky and Diesel (X-Press 2) Quivver, Brandon Block, Alex P, Nicky Holloway, Alistair Whitehead, Jon Da Silva, and Dave Morales.
