Defunct UK indie rock band formed in May 1996 in Brighton, England on the ashes of Adorable by Piotr Fijalkowski (now Pete Fijalkowski). Members included: Pete Fijalkowski (vocals, programming, guitar, 1996-end) Krzys Fijalkowski (guitar, 1996-2003) Bob Brown (bass, guitar, 1997-end) Chris Parsons (drums, 1997-end) Simon Dunford (keyboards, 1997-99) Matthew Sigley (keyboards, 1999-2001) Richard Brincklow (keyboards, 2001-2002) After Rubbernecking, they were offered a third album by One Little Indian but by that time they were down to a three piece (Chris, Bob and Pete) and everyone was so up to their eyeballs in debt that there was no chance they’d be able to promote the album at all, so they decided to call it a day. They had recorded a couple of tracks with Bob on guitar. After the band folded, this is what the members were doing in 2008: Krzys (Fijalkowski, guitar) teaches Art History at Norwich School of Art and The University of East Anglia. He sometimes does visiting lectures at the Tate Modern — he’s a Doctor of Surrealism. Bob (Brown, bass) is a graphic designer in London and plays in a band called Shrag. Chris Parsons (drums) is a gardener and plays with Milk and Honey Band, and also drums for Astrid Williamson. Simon Dunford is a press officer for University of East Anglia. Matt Sigley (keyboards) went back to Australia and plays for various bands — including his own Daytime Frequency project and The Lovetones. Richard Brinklow (keyboards) composes music for TV, and fronts his own band called John The Savage.
