Polluted Axis started in 1995, recorded using a Tascam PortaStudio, bass amp, fx processor, and some soon to be destroyed microphones. Released originally as Spineless, the original hand copied, live performance releases on cassettes are long gone but the sound lives on. Over the years Polluted Axis continued this trend, pushing forward with interesting yet catchy self released cassette and CDR releases ranging from their original roots in ambient and experimental noise, to epic rhythmic noise anthems, to harsh noise, and rare live performances. Now, Luxotek and DAQ are bringing you a new face of Polluted Axis, drawing from old cyberpunk, futurepop, and dubstep influences and combining them with the original rhythmic noise roots of the band to create new and unique sounds and genre's like dubsuck and RedNeck Noise. The new Polluted Axis is sure to make you ask "What the hell am I listening to and why do I like it so much?"
