It wasn't long before Polo joined his his first band Danger. Several other groups later he reappeared with Dédé Traké ,in the late 80's, for a series of shows in Europe and Quebec. In 1993 he joined with Thibaud de Corta to form Les Frères À Ch'val, touring extensively. In 2000 he had a change of scene and along with his partner Denis "screw" Lavigne wrote the music for the movie soundtrack "Naughty Party". In 2002 Polo released a solo album followed up with one of his biggest tours, where most nights he was accompanied on stage by up to eight musicians. In 2006 he began a new project, Maktoub, with his Moroccan friend Lekbir Halili and performed together at several shows.
