A.k.a. Pompilia Stoian-Lemperle
Romanian singer famous in 60's and 70's born in 20 March 1943. She emigrated in Federal Republic of Germany in 1972 The birth of her daughter prompted Ms. Stoian-Lemperle to a longer career break. In 1986, she took to teaching again until October 2007. She debuted in 1966 with Dan Spătaru at the televised show at “Students House of Culture Grigore Preoteasa”. They sang “Amour, mon Amour My love” and “The young ones” and other 60's songs.There were rumours that they had a relationship. In 1966, she won first prize with “Prieten drag” song at the festival in Mamaia . In 2001, this title was chosen as song of the century in Romania. Now she live in Rosenthal, Brunswick, Germany from 1968 when she married and followed her husband who died in 2013.
