A.k.a. Scott Sinfield

Portal is the name given to the recordings of Scott Sinfield. The music has included contributions from others, notably vocalist Rachel Hughes who appeared on Portal's albums between 2000 and 2005, and guitarist Jon Attwood, who also records under the moniker Yellow6. Contrary to some assertions, Portal did not disband in 2006, but rather went on sabbatical, with Scott becoming a father and concentrating on the running of the now-defunct independent label Make Mine Music. At the end of 2009, Portal was laid to rest. Scott now records under the Ringinglow name.
