Porter Grainger (Alias Harold Gray (3)) worked with Bob Ricketts (pianist) and the blues singers Viola McCoy, Clara Smith, Victoria Spivey, Mamie Smith, and Bessie Smith . His orchestra, the "Get Happy Band" is known for having made eight recordings. In the 40s his traces are lost.
