Presentations for the Italian post metal outfit should not be necessary as the band as been protagonist over the past years of some of the most interesting releases coming from the Italian underground and foremost the European soil. If with their debut album "Beckoning Light We Will Set Ourselves On Fire" they had already catched the attention of all post-fanatics in the old continent, with their second release "Aegeria" they indeed reached a wider audience. Third I Rex had recently the honour to join forces with 22 December Records and Drown Within Records for the re-release of the band's works and it is now with extreme joy that we renew our bound with the band by bringing to life a new outstanding opus. The band: "The "Carmentis" album is the second chapter of the trilogy started by the band with the previous "Aegeria". Discomfort, dark soundscapes, all aspects focusing onto loss, mindbreaking suffering and difficult times in life, will go hand in hand with the listener through the whole journey, without mercy.
