Poul Reinau
of Pop
Danish band leader (1923-2005). Performed with Ove Sopp and in the early 50's with Frandsen Trioen who had a hit with the schlager "Solskin ombord". From the late 50's Reinau was part of the team that ran on-sea pirate radio "Radio Mercur". Meanwhile he also founded a quartet with his wife, singer Lise Reinau that toured internationally. In the 60's and 70's he worked in advertising and is the inventer of the slogan "Luk op for noget godt - luk op for Haribo". He also establsihed a record import and record label, Nikolaj.
