Croatian pop/cabaret band formed in Split in 1973 by a group of 6 students of Faculty of Economics (Duško Mucalo, Zvonimir Stipičić, Željko Maretić, Rade Čikeš, Mladen Bauk and Davor Barbarić). Group was disbanded in 1990, but had a short comeback in 2010. "KOTKA" is an abbreviation of "Kulturno Organizaciono Tehnička Komisija" (Cultural, Organizational and Technical Commission), but some sources also state it means "Kako Oraspoložiti Tako Kvantitativan Auditorij" (How to cheer up such a grand auditorium).
