Recently, Precursor has shifted his attention from Electronica to Techno and this EP is the first manifestation of that. Antagonist opens with the title track and instantly grabs the listener's attention with a selection of sounds recorded with analog equipment. Before long, the track moves on with a mesmerizing lead that is the main theme of this exciting dancefloor track. This sets the tone for the EP in which synth sequences are the combining factor. In the second track called Verge, a modular sequence fills the track. After 3 minutes, everything opens up during the second break where all the sounds blend together into an epic climax. Finally, the EP closes with Recurring, in which different sequences play together resulting in an interesting listening experience. About halfway through the track it progresses towards a more relaxing and atmospheric piece, in which the pads and bass take you on a trip.
