Arranger of Latin
Musical organization of the tropical or Afro-Antillean genre was created in Veracruz, Mexico on December 13, 1955, by its founder, director, clarinetist and arranger Don Carlos Pitalúa Rojas on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the XEU and XEW radio stations of the Port of Veracruz . Its musical structure from the beginning to consisted of Guitar, Bass, Clave, Bongo, Maracas and Trumpet with mute, to tie harmonically with the clarinet sound, making a duet with this not only in its harmonic background, but also in the melodic, giving so a very special flavor to the duo voices, adding later other percussions consisting of Conga and Timbal obtaining as a result a more Caribbean flavor to their interpretations.
