Single PH 1980 on Warner Bros. Records label
Electronic and R&B/Soul (Funk)
From the Warner Bros. album BSK 3478 "Dirty Mind". During the early 80's, WEA Records Philippines created a various artists compilation album called "Metallic Gigolo" and introduced a dance craze of the same name (with the help of the WEA Dancers, of course) at a popular daily noontime show. Featured prominently were "Paradise" by Change, "Try It Out" by Gino Soccio and "Head" by Prince among others. For familiarity (and retention) the record company decided to add the subtitle "Metallic Gigolo" to the aforementioned songs during their release (which had very good television exposure and radio airplay). Record is housed in generic plastic sleeve (typical of Philippine 7" singles).
