Formed on St. Patrick's Day in Cork, Ireland 1984 by a number of buskers working on Princes Street in Cork City. They were led by Hank Wedel who had been busking on Princes St. since beginning his studies at UCC in 1981. The band later evolved into The Medication Blues Band. Wedel later fronted Open Kitchen.
