Prof. Robert Campbell



A.k.a. Robert L. Campbell

Cambell is a retired jazz critic who worked for Cadence magazine from 1992 to 1998. He has done extensive research on Sun Ra and published a discography, The Earthly Recordings of Sun Ra, was published by Cadence Jazz Books in 1994. The second edition, The Earthly Recordings of Sun Ra, Volume 2, was co-authored with British Sun Ra expert Chris Trent and was released in 2000. Robert Campbell is also a professor working in the Psychology Department at Clemson University since the summer of 1991. Before that he spent five years doing Developmental and Cognitive Psychology for the IBM Research Division in Hawthorne, New York.
