Artist Portrait

Professor LaCroix

Dance
A.k.a. Dave Simmons

Brought up on an eclectic diet of New Wave, Disco, Country, Funk, 60's Pop, Easy Listening and Hip Hop, Dave Simmons started deejaying at ten years old, dropping Depeche Mode and Newcleus records at middle school parties. Since moving to Los Angeles in 1999, the DJ/producer has developed his electro-disco aesthetic as Professor LaCroix at local club nights, Mojave desert parties and his monthly VIP AREA podcast.
