The Przeciwziemia band, a Polish acoustic prog-rock group, was formed in Wroclaw (capital of Lower Silesia, PL) in 2011 by Bartek Sobieraj (vocal & acoustic guitar, saz, sitar) and Konrad Koscielski (drums, hapi drum), two friends that had worked on some other artistic projects before. Soon they invited two other musicians in order to complete the sound: Przemek Banaszek (keyboards, accordion), Tomek Jaskiewicz (bass guitar) and recently Dawid Pepkowski (electric guitar). Their music is hardly describable. To grasp it quickly, Przeciwziemia is a mixture of acoustic rock with ethno, funk, grunge, jazz and who knows what else.
