Thee saga ov that song's independent release, its subsequent incredible success and sudden sabotage is chronicled in detail in thee accompanying booklet by Genesis Breyer P-Orridge. Also included are illustrations and previously unpublished photographs of Brian Jones from thee 1960's and facsimiles ov unique memorabilia documenting thee L-if-E inspiring meeting S/HE had with The Rolling Stones and Brian Jones in 1965. These two CDs are thee first T.I.M.E. that all thee songs, instrumentals and soundtrack segments for "GODSTAR-thee movie" have been digitally re-mastered and then assembled exactly in thee order intended in 1986 and includes new songs, bonus tracks and mixes. Thee result is an amazing and classic HYPERDELIC pop experience. Thee first movie to watch with your eyes closed...and with an opened mind!" CD booklet and outer sleeve list a second version of "Je T'Aime, Moi Non Plus" on CD2, between "Godstar (the Brian meets Bryin mix)" and "Brian Jones' Visit To Jajouka...", that is not on the CD. Track 1-1, "Godstar (Monterey Pop Festival Mix)" is the same as "Godstar (California Mix)", the B-side of the Godstar 12" (TOPY H 009). Track 1-3, "Godstar (Ready Steady Go Mix)" is the same as the album version from "Allegory & Self" (TOPY 035). Track 1-4, "Amazing Vibrations" is the same as "Good Vibrations (Kundalini Mix)", track A1 from "The Magickal Mystery D Tour EP" (TOPYT 23). Track 1-5, "A Mind Blown Is A Mind Throne" is the same as "Yes It's The B-Side" from the "Godstar" double-7" (TOPY S 009). Track 1-6, "As Tears Go By" appears on the Cleopatra Records rerelease of "A Pagan Day" (CLP 9469-2). Track 1-7, "Godstar (Tangiers Mix)" is the same as "Godstar (Hyperdelic Mix)", the A-side of the Godstar 12" (TOPY H 009). Track 1-9, "Je T'Aime, Moi Non Plus" appears on the "Je T'Aime" 12" (SUB 12001-2). Track 2-1, "Abstract Reality" appears on "Jack The Tab / Tekno Acid Beat" (WAXCD 7127). Track 2-3, "Godstar (Cotchford Farm Mix)" is the same as "Godstar (BJ Mix)", the B-side of the Godstar 7" (TOPY 009). Track 2-5, "Roman P" is the same as "Roman P. (Fireball Mix)", track A1 from "The Magickal Mystery D Tour EP" (TOPYT 23). Track 2-6, "Good Vibrations" appears on "The Magickal Mystery D Tour EP" double-7" (TOPYD 23). Track 2-7, "Eve Ov Destruction" was recorded in 1987 and appears on the "Love War Riot" 12" (TOPY 048). Tracks 1-13, 2-8, 2-9, and 2-10 are previously unreleased.
