A.k.a. Mike Verros & George Pandelidis
A psy trance group from Thessaloniki, Greece. Mike Verros is also the creator of a famous mobile trance party organisation in Greece called Brainstorm. The music of Psychonauts contains a distinct melodic nature, clearly influenced by the more eastern cultural orientation of Thessaloniki, therefore rather close in concepts to the Israeli concept of psychedelic trance. This connection became clearly evident by the 1998 and onwards collaborations with many of the Israeli artists, belonging then to the Morning and Melodic side of trance. Nevertheless, the music style of psychonauts cannot be classified purely as Morning & Melodic trance, as in most cases it features a great complexity and fast acid scaling buzzlines.
