Dance and Electronic
A.k.a. Juergen Hoesdorff
Cologne-based Juergen Hoesdorff, aka psychosonic, found his passion for electronic music already in his youth. Bored from the passivity of a classical music training and its concentration on the sequel-playing of popular songs, he discovered the computer as an instrument and began to create his own sounds. Already while he first got in touch with synthetic music, which new age and synthie-pop heroes like Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, Jan Hammer and others produced, his attention lead him to the techno-, trance and ravemusic of the early 90s. The spirit of the Harthouse and Eye-Q-Labels with its main-producers like Ramon Zenker (Hardfloor), Ralf Hildenbeutel and Oliver Lieb influenced him musically. In a decade he produced a large amount of tracks, always with his own independent style. After these tracks found a large distribution via his friends and the world-wide-web, gradually small lables found interest in him and first successes with vinyl and mp3-releases began. His music-spectrum is widely open and reaches from dancefloor-orientated tool-trance (shrance) to acid-trance, tek-/progressive-house and electro and leads him even to melancholic ambient. In this varience two elements always will stay: Ecstasy and feeling!!
