Putrid Cause were a hardcore punk band from Columbus, Ohio that existed from 2013 to 2015. They were infamous for their live shows featuring nudity, debauchery, self-mutilation, and onstage drug use. The guitarist/songwriter split to form another hardcore punk band called Chromosome Damage. The vocalist continues with his noise band, Blood Noize which has been around since 2010. The bassist and drummer have formed an indie/noise band called Collective Depression.
