American jazz trombonist. Born 13 January 1909 in Springfield/Ohio. Died 2 October 1976 in New York City, USA.. A fixture with Duke Ellington's Orchestra in the 1950's, Quentin was Duke's best wah-wah trombonist (an expert with the plunger mute).
