Latin and Jazz
The Quinteto Real was formed in 1960 with the simple aim of making instrumental tangos designed for listening rather than dancing with space to display the virtuoso playing of its members: Horacio Salgán, piano; Enrique Francini, violin; Pedro Láurenz, bandoneón; Ubaldo De Lío, guitar; Rafael Ferro, double bass (left in 1962), replaced by Kicho Díaz
