Röda Kapellet was formed in the autumn -72 in Göteborg by members of Vänsterpartiet Kommunisterna and Kommunistisk Ungdom. The band was divided into two groups in autumn -73, an acoustic and an electrical part. Both groups were part of the non-commercial culture.
