R.A.C.L.A. is the first Romanian hip hop group from Bucharest, Romania, founded by brothers Călin "Rimaru" Ionescu and Daniel "Clonatu'" Ionescu in 1993. One of the earliest hip hop acts, their debut album was the first hip hop record to be released in Romania. The group's name is an acronym that has stood for various phrases throughout the group's history, starting with "Rapperi Albi Concep Legal Avertismente " (White Rappers Legally Conceiving Warnings), it went through a number of other meanings before finally settling for "Rime Alese Care Lovesc Adânc" (Selected Rhymes That Hit Deeply).
