R.I.P. is a project started by the producers of Double Nation - Brad Grobler, and Rob Janssen. The official story goes that R.I.P. started off as a way for Sean and Kim to let off some steam in the studio. Whenever Sean and Kim where in the studio, they always liked to imitate slow pop/R&B songs, and try and picture them as dance songs. Producer Brad recorded them just for fun, but the final versions were actually released afterwards.
