R.O.B.T.F. is a band which combines electronic music with live instruments. Its style is mainly drum ‘n’ bass. The band’s discography includes: “Robot Labs” – 1997, “Ability to Connect” – 2000, “Nuclear Decomposed” – 2001, “Green Level” Live – 2002, and “Eco-Teleporter” – 2004. R.O.B.T.F. have performed many concerts as well as participated in numerous media events. They were the support band for “Metalheadz” in Sofia in 1999. They played at both editions of the “Computer Space” festival in 1999 and 2000, organized by DS Music. Some other performances include: the “Extreme” festival in what used to be the military club along with the bands “Phuture Shock,” “Baby Face Clan,” and “Gravity Co.” CubeFest 1- April of 2003, CubeFest 2 – August of 2003, Tangra Mega Rock’s first birthday – 2007, The Brixton Telegraph Club In London – 2006, and many others. At the beginning the band is formed by popular faces in Sofia’s alternative scene: Zdravko Minev (Crash, Alien Industry), Mihail Yalandjiev – Tsuro (Crash, Era, Syco Tribe, Transformation, Sheky and The Bloodyboys), Dobrin Phillipov (Crash, Era), Alexander Yanev (Panican Whyasker, Nassekomix), and Dimitar Vasilev – Nufri (Pyromania, Plastic Hi Fi, Panican Whyasker.) After Tsuro’s (Mihail Yalandjiev) death in September of 2007 the band members are changed: Zdravko Minev – programming and keyboards, Joro Varamezov – drums, and Ognian Drandiyski (O.J. Band) – vocals. The band remains true to its style.
