On 8th February 2005, DJ Pascal came to Luc Rigaux with the idea of producing a dance-merengue cover of Elvis Crespo's track "Suavemente". Ritmo Bros was born. On February 15th, Cuban singer Tomas joined the band to perform "Suavamente" vocals. First single "Suavamente" was released on 25/04/2005. Ritmo Bros starts to tour in parties and clubs. On 09/07/2005, "Suavamente" single reaches number 10 of the Belgian official sales chart. Second single "Could You Be Loved" is released in the beginning of 2006 and gets played on radios and TV channels. "Ritmo Bros" performs this title live on TV shows. Summer 2006: Ritmo Bros tours in Belgium.
