The Swedish Radiojazz group was formed as a studio orchestra at Sveriges Radio in 1967. Most of the Swedish jazz elite has been a member of the orchestra during its existance, including Jan Johansson, Bengt Hallberg and Georg Riedel. Musical leaders include saxophonists Arne Domnérus and Lennart Åberg. "Nocturne" contains compositions by Georg Riedel, set to texts by Swedish poet Stig Dagerman, performed by Arne Domnérus (as), Claes Rosendahl (fl), Rune Gustafsson (gtr), Bertil Lövgren (flgh), Lennart Åberg (ss), Palle Mikkelborg (tpt), Erik Nilsson (bs) and Bengt Hallberg (p). Vocals are provided by actress Lena Ericsson..
