Rafael de Paz González, Mexican musician and composer, was born on November 28, 1903 in the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, from a poor family, and due to the need, he arrived in Mexico City, and began to work as a member of the Guatemalan Marimba de los Hermanos Barrios, but at the same time thanks to a friend of his beloved father he enrolled in the music conservatory where he achieved with time, the technical and theoretical knowledge of music. After traveling through the Azteca territory with the Marimba group, in 1929 he joined the "Típica Torreblanca" orchestra, working in the silent cinema, later he continued with the classical marimba, but at the end of the era of silent cinema, a serious crisis for musicians in that sector, and is fortunate enough to be recommended to act with his Marimba on the radio station XEB and alternate with the Marimba "Lira de San Cristóbal", since it was an important radio competition by means of radio . Through the mediation of the composer, Puerto Rican musician Rafael Hernández, who resided in Mexico in those years, recommended Rafael de Paz to make the arrangements, and direct the musical orchestration of the famous films, "Águila o Sol", with Manuel Medel, and Mario Moreno Cantinflas , and "El Gendarme Desconocido", and a very extensive stela of cinematography from the golden age of Mexican cinema. He participated for several years as deputy director next to Mariano Rivera Conde of the record company R.C.A. Victor making fabulous arrangements where he made remarkable singing figures, including Maria Victoria, Fernando Fernandez, Benny Moré, Aurelio "Yeyo" Estrada, the Hermanas Navarro , Maria Luisa Landin, Pedro Vargas, Luis Carlos Meyer, Tony Camargo among many others, and was the first (1959) to support the author Armando Manzanero. From his ingenuity as an author he wrote an extensive catalog, in the popular sphere, and he made many works of classical genre, which were programmed in the radio of the organization of the American states (OAS, which bears the name "La Voz de las Americas, "which were classic works and parts of great concert soloists' programs." That famed musical movement of the 40s and 50s, the Peace teacher, due to his musical creativity, made arrangements for the themes where the introduction highlighted
