Raffaele Mellace (Milan 1969) graduated in Literature at the University of Milan with Francesco Degrada and trained in Musicology and Musical Heritage at the University of Bologna with Lorenzo Bianconi. He obtained the Diploma in oboe at the Conservatory of Bologna and the Diploma of the Sommerhochschule of the University of Vienna. He spent research periods in Germany and Austria, also taking advantage of Foreign Ministry scholarships.
