German bassoonist. He's born 1954 in Plauen and studied with Karl Kolbinger in Munich. In 1976 he was member of the Weltjugendorchster; since 1977 member of Symphonie-Orchester Des Bayerischen Rundfunks. In 1979 he got the 3rd price at the International Musician Contest in Ankona; in 1982 he was bronze medalist at the International Bassonist Contest in Toulon.
