mainly recorded during br's stay at rw's home in eggenstein, germany, february 2003. it consists of improvisational duets. second sight was recorded with a little help from the post - rw's takes (a 12-mins "action musical" and a feedback improvisation on that recording) were done at his home later in feb, mixed and sent to br, who recorded his improvisation in greg malcolm's lounge after having listened to rw's track. all mixes wer done in rw's studio: rough mix of first sight in february, final mix in may 2003. for second sight in april, third sight in march 2003. no sound-transformations or use of additional material. br's travel was made possible by creative nz. Edition of 500 in carboard packaging.
