Singer of Rock, Pop and Country
Born: 1942 Port Arthur, Texas. Country and Rock 'n' Roll singer/songwriter/performer. After performing for some time Ralph made his first recording in 1962 ("Here I Am", still unreleased). His first release was "Weeping Willow Tree / Experimental Love". Eventually he opened for artists like Roy Orbison. From the late 60s to the late 70s he wasn't active as a musician but became engaged with acting and a wide variety of different jobs. In the early 80s he got to know Dona Mae Donohoo with whom he wrote and recorded several songs. In 1997 with the help of Boyd Rice he released his first CD "A Star Unborn". Ralph Gean was a Mormon and has been married to two women. He is father of five children.
