A.k.a. Ralph Christian Frederick Martin
Bluegrass musician - guitar, banjo and mandolin. I was born in Leidschendam, The Netherlands on May 7th, 1982. My father, Dennis Schut, raised me on bluegrass and classic country music and started teaching me to play the guitar and mandolin when I was six years old. Later, at age 14, I became seriously interested in bluegrass banjo as well. I spent my teenage years playing with my dad's bluegrass band Spruce Pine. I moved to the Czech Republic at age 19 where I have had the honour of playing with many great musicians and bands including (but not limited to) Petr Kůs a Fámy, Roll's Boys, Blueland, The Mousetrap, G-runs 'n Roses and The Rustic Robots.
