Singer of Latin, Folk and World
Paraguayan singer born in the town of Quiindy. At the age of 5 he moved with his parents to the town of Luque, where he carried out his primary and secondary education. He was taught music theory by the musician Eugenio Hermisilla. He studied for five years at the Escuela Nacional De Canto under the direction of Sofia Mendoza, demonstrating great vocal aptitude. Later he represented the town of Luque in the National Festival of Folklore. Stimulated by these early successes, he moved to São Paulo, Brazil. In 1970 Herminio Giménez gave performances in São Paulo and he met Ramón Cáceres. Impressed by his abilities, he gave him the opportunity to record his first LP.
