Mathematics professor at the University of Washington. Ramesh Gangolli also teaches North Indian classical music in the Ethnomusicology Program in the School of Music. Co-founder in 1981 of Ragamala, a volunteer organisation based in Seattle, devoted to the music of India and South Asia.
