Randall began touring professionally with Dave Evans and Riverbend and later went on to traveling with Ralph Stanley II. His most recent stent was when he landed the position of bass player for Dr. Ralph Stanley and The Clinch Mountain Boys, the last bassist for Dr. Ralph Stanley.
