Raphael Johnson II (born September 22, 1978) better known by his stage name Raphael RJ2, is an American Hip Hop & R&B, Songwriter, Record Producer, Singer and Rapper. He is currently signed to Hot N Cold Ent. He has produced for artists such as Flo Rida, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg,Fiend, Styles P, Hurricane Chris, Lil Snupe, Master P, Lil Romeo, Juvenile and Currensy among others. He is best known for producing Flo Rida's "Fresh I Stay" ft Lil Wayne & Jovi Rockwell (which is also featured in The Sims 3 video game) and Styles P's "Murda Mommy" , along with Hurricane Chris's "Hot Like Lava" In 2009. Raphael RJ2 produced the theme music for Ed Lover's "C’mon, Son!" show which contains a sample of Ed Lover’s voice saying "C’mon, Son!" and also contains Raphael RJ2's Signature beat production Tag "Beats How U Want Em! Raphael on the track!" at the intro of the music. In early 2013 Raphael RJ2 produced a song for Meek Mill's artist Rapper Lil Snupe whom was later murdered On June 20, 2013 the song is called Lil Snupe "Priorities" Ft Young Salo. Beats How U Want Em is the name of Raphael RJ2's production company. Established in the year 2000 along side his founding production team members brother Alger "King Al" Johnson and Rodney "Rodnae" B Young Jr . In 2009 Beats How U Want Em won a Grammy for production on the Lil Wayne Tha Carter III album courtesy of Rodnae for the song titled "DontGetIt" aka "Misunderstood" that contains a sample of "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" by Nina Simone. 'Tha Carter III' was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Album of the Year. 'Tha Carter III' was also ranked number one in Blender 's list of the 33 best albums of 2008. Christgau ranked its deluxe edition as the second best album of 2008. The album was also ranked number three onRolling Stone 's list of the top 50 albums of 2008. Billboard magazine ranked the album number 103 on its list of the Top 200 Albums of the Decade. In 2012, the album was ranked number 437 on Rolling Stone 's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. In 2012 Complex named the album one of the classic albums of the last decade.
