Ras.al.ghul born from the ashes of the electro-industrial group Croniamantal. This group started their activities in 1985 and the music was constructed aggressively obsessively, heavily linked with the industrial culture. They never released any album, But at that time they was invited to contribute for many cds compilations all over the Europe along with groups such as , Dive ,Omala, Bourbonese Qualk, Clock dva, Fini Fribe, Young Gods , Von Magnet, Controlled Bleeding, and many others. After many promises from labels to release their first album , the constant delay in release was so big , they simply decide to stop activities. After that the the founders members Paulo Rodrigues and Fernando Cerqueira of Croniamantal decide to return with a new project called RAS:AL:GHUL , where the music is more laidback , hypnotic, tribal, ritualistic, ambient. The band split in 2003 after a last track on the limited edition compilation.
