Born: August 9, 1936, Pesterzsébet, Hungary Died: September 13, 1989, Debrecen, Hungary Hungarian poet, before starting his studies at the University of Szeged in 1956, he had several jobs, e.g. he worked in a state farm and in a wine cellar. His poems had been published in the journals since 1955. His poetry was published in six books between 1966 and 1987. For his work he received several awards, inlcuding the Attila József Prize in 1969.
