A.k.a. RAY DARWIN
Reggae singer born in Buff Bay, Portland Parish/Jamaica. A teenage friend of Horace Andy, he emigrated to New York where he lived for 25 years, occasionally singing on the Downbeat The Ruler soundsystem. In 2002 Ray Darwin moved to Germany to attempt a short career as a pop singer, releasing two singles on Edel in 2002. Soon enough though, he rediscovered his affection for reggae music and moved back to Jamaica, where he released the hit tune "People's Choice" in 2006.
