Album US 1975 on Total Communication Systems label
Spoken Word (Interview, Field Recording, Monolog, Promotional)
Total Communications Systems New Kensington, Pa. (412) 361-5758 From back cover: This album was supposed to be about Joe Paterno and Penn State Football. One a man, the other an institution. Two separate entities, right? Well, not exactly. You see, there are many who believe that both are institutions, each responsive to the other's needs. And while one has enjoyed an occasional flirtation with some would-be homewrecker from time to time (the Pittsburgh Steelers, the New England Patriots). Penn State and Paterno have been together now for more than 25 years. Maybe that's why they're so successful (94-18-1). They're a family, complete with "uncles" - five staff members have been around for a total of 121 years - and their young lions spring off a scrimmage line like no other team in college football. Listen now as future and former greats give their personal insights into the "family" that played together. Listen to the play-by-plays of some of the greatest moments. Joe Paterno and Penn State Football. A man, - a family, - an institution. Special Thanks to: George Paterno, Rev. Thomas Bermingham, James Michener, Chuck Burkhart, Dan Wallace, Chris Bahr, Ron Coder, Larry Suhey, Paul Suhey, Fran Fisher, Susan Devlin and Penn State University: Athletic Department and Coaching Staff
