Ray Williams
Ray Williams received a degree in Jazz Performance in 1985. He began his professional career as a drummer long before college. While attending school, he played throughout the region with saxophonist Michael Peticin, Jr. and others who were current on the scene during the early and mid 1980’s. After graduation he began working with some of Philadelphia’s legends such as Dexter Wansel, Billy Paul, and Lou Rawls. Ray has collaborated with many musicians in studio sessions and on live dates and his name is well known throughout the musical community on the East Coast.
