Doctor of Musicology, Music Critic, Newspaper Music Editor ca 1958 and Dean of University of Southern California School of Music 1948-ca1968 Born 1910, Died 1980 Kendall earned his PhD of Musicology at Cornell University. He went on to be an assistant Professor at Dartmouth, and a faculty member at the University of Michigan. He was a Music Coordinator and Consultant for the USAF, and the Music Editor for the Los Angeles Minor-News.
