A.k.a. Raymond Ginn
Raymond Pettibon is a reknowned artist. He first gained notoriety when his artwork appeared on flyers and album covers for Black Flag, a band led by his older brother, Greg Ginn, as well as several other artists on his brother's record label, SST Records in the late 1970s through the mid 1980s. Since acrimoniously splitting from the SST world in the mid 1980s over the treatment of his original drawings, Raymond continued to make a name for himself in the world of art and he also occassionally dabbled in music. He still occassionally does album artwork, and his art has appeared on releases by Sonic Youth, Mike Watt, the Foo Fighters, and OFF!, amongst others. His professional name derives from the nickname his father gave him, "Petit Bon".
