Producer of Rock, Pop and Soundtrack
US-American film and TV actress, born as Rebecca Jane Pearch in Santa Rosa, California on Aug. 29, 1959. Adopting the name of her stepfather after her parents' divorce, she later went to Europe and graduated from a private school in Austria. It was at this time that she penned the theme tune for a Kung Fu exploitation flick titled "Goodbye Bruce Lee" (1975). After returning to the USA and studying at the Lee Strasberg Institute, Ms. DeMornay later gained high notes of desirability as a prostitute in the Tom Cruise vehicle "Risky Business" (1983), and respectability as a psychopath in "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle" (1992). For a period, she was also engaged to Leonard Cohen whose "The Future" album she appeared on.
