The musician-quartet from Berlin consists of songwriter/frontman Sven Rebentisch, bass-guitar-player Jens Bohm, the sound- and design-artist Max Momentum and also Jürgen Lilke (the technician and the man all behind) reach out with their forcefully-expressive lyrics directly for the audiences heart. Their style can be discribed as Pop'n'Wave and EDM (Electronic Dance Music). The four musicians impose itself, in which genre they operate. So it's an absolute unique genre-mix. But if you want to compare their music, you'll be right with artists as: New Order, Anne Clark and Depeche Mode! So, REBENTISCH is a colorful and danceable sensation which is also direct and explosive. REBENTISCH cooperating with Gruftie-Ton, DancEmotion Records, af-music, Altone Distribution and InfraRot. Sven produced his first time darkwave-music with his aka DAMION IN THE CASKET in 1999. The result was the demo-album "Leiden schafft". Later he also released "Der Traum im Gedanken" and "Danach". After this, since 2002 Sven waived his aka and just used his surname. In 2005 the first big changes reached REBENTISCH. Jürgen Lilke founded the record-label Gruftie-Ton just for future releases of REBENTISCH. This option was used directly and Sven released his debut-album "Weltschmerz" on august, 8th 2005. Until 2009 Sven worked on new releases (e.g. "Intimität") with some other artists as A.G.J.A.. Jens Bohm joined REBENTISCH for the recordings of the 3rd album "Herz zerrissen". For their 6th album "Empathie" Sven and Jens invited the ex-guitar-player from DIE SKEPTIKER Andreas Kupsch as a guest musician. In 2013 REBENTISCH releasead their 2nd remix-album and 7th album overall "7 -trauer ist tanzbar-". It's a summary of the first works in cooperation with Max Momentum. Since july 2014 REBENTISCH consists of four men and with the release of their 8th Maxi-Single "Marionetten" on august, 8th 2014, REBENTISCH starts the celebrations for their 10th Anniversary.
