This retrospective collection of RECEPTORS' most popular 8-bit / Gameboy micro-chipmusic releases (2003 thru 2008) includes unreleased, remastered & self-remixed tracks. Equipment used is mostly Game Boy Classic DMG-01 model (running LittleSoundDJ and Nanoloop 1.2) and Game Boy Advance (running Nanoloop 2.1), vocoded stylophonically MIDI-controlled (via Roland PMA-5) Nintendo Entertainment System ("Stylovox") & Sidstation (utilizing 2 Commodore 64 microchips.) The two remixes utilize vintage analog synths, mainly Moog Rogue, Sequential Circuits Pro-One and Roland Juno series, Various Roland drum-machines and ASRX sampler. The album cover art is a photo of a miniature-model of RECEPTORS.
